    Egypt remittances reached $29.7 billion through July 2026 after a 28.1% annual rise. Remittances for July alone reached roughly $4.5 billion, marking a 20% rise from approximately $3.8 billion in July 2025. This monthly figure follows earlier increases reported earlier in the year. January saw about $3.5 billion in remittances, up 21% from $2.9 billion the previous year. February’s inflows were around $3.8 billion, an increase of 25.7% from $3.0 billion in February 2025.
