    Vietnam Health Ministry calls for prudence as COVID-19 cases rise

    There has been an increase in the number of new COVID-19 infections, as well as the number of critical cases, reported by the Vietnamese Ministry of Health (MoH). There have been more than 100 serious illnesses being treated in hospitals in Vietnam over the past week, with an average of 2,000 Coronavirus cases per day.

    Vietnam Health Ministry calls for prudence as COVID-19 cases riseAs reported by the Vietnam News Agency (VNA), the ministry has indicated that it will continue closely monitoring the development of the COVID-19 pandemic and regularly review and analyze the situation in order to develop plans and scenarios to respond appropriately to any outbreaks that may occur.

    According to the Ministry of Health, the number of COVID-19 cases across the country now stands at more than 11.3 million. It was estimated that over 10 million people were able to recover from the disease. There are currently 106 patients in need of breathing support due to serious conditions that they are suffering from.

The seismic event took place at 1:02:23 p.m. western Indonesian time, which corresponds to 06:02:23 UTC. According to official measurements, the epicenter was located in the sea, approximately 147 kilometers southeast of South Nias Regency. The quake originated at a depth of 29 kilometers beneath waters west of Sumatra.
