RIYADH, SA / ACCESS Newswire / April 6, 2026 / LG Electronics is highlighting its latest dishwasher innovations as part of its broader smart home ecosystem, designed to support more convenient, efficient and hygienic living. Combining advanced steam cleaning, multi-directional washing and smart connectivity through the LG ThinQ® app, LG dishwashers aim to simplify one of the most time-consuming daily household tasks.

Smarter Cleaning with Advanced Core Technologies

LG’s dishwasher range emphasizes four key technologies designed to improve cleaning performance and reduce the need for manual work.

TrueSteam™ technology uses high-temperature steam to help loosen stubborn, dried-on food and reduce water spots by 84%1, supporting more hygienic cleaning results while minimizing the need for pre-washing.

QuadWash™ technology features four multi-motion spray arms that rotate and move in multiple directions, helping ensure water reaches dishes from multiple angles for more consistent cleaning across the entire load.

Auto Open Dry automatically opens the dishwasher door at the end of the cycle, enabling air to circulate and moisture to escape, promoting a more natural drying process.

Heat Dry2complements this by circulating hot air inside the dishwasher, helping ensure dishes, including plastics, are ready to use with minimal additional drying required.

Designed for Convenience in Everyday Living

LG dishwashers are crafted for contemporary households that value time and efficiency, making kitchen cleaning easier so families can enjoy more quality moments together.

The 1-Hour Wash & Dry3 cycle enables quick cleaning and drying of dishes, ideal for handling multiple meals or gatherings efficiently. Additionally, flexible rack systems with adjustable, multi-level storage options accommodate various cookware and utensils, enhancing loading efficiency and optimizing space.

Quiet operation4 also supports open-plan living environments, allowing dishwashers to run with minimal disruption to daily activities.

    A More Connected Kitchen Experience

As part of LG’s smart home ecosystem, dishwashers are integrated with the LG ThinQ® app5, enabling users to monitor cycles, receive notifications and manage their appliance remotely.

This connectivity allows households to maintain control over their kitchen routines even when away from home, supporting a more seamless and responsive living environment.

Supporting Smart Living Through Everyday Innovation

Smart living is about reducing complexity in daily routines. By combining advanced cleaning technologies with connectivity through LG ThinQ, LG’s dishwasher solutions are designed to help households save time while maintaining high standards of hygiene and convenience.

With a focus on smart cleaning, efficient performance and connected living, LG’s latest dishwasher technologies reflect the company’s ongoing commitment to making everyday home experiences simpler and more intuitive.

Michigan Food Safety Alert: Two Cyclospora-Related Deaths Confirmed Amid Outbreak Investigations

    Health August 4, 2026

Michigan confirms two deaths as officials investigate a major cyclospora outbreak. Both individuals fell ill prior to the voluntary iceberg lettuce recall announced on July 17. On August 3, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention acknowledged the Michigan fatalities, describing them as deaths related to cyclosporiasis involving individuals with pre-existing health issues. The total number of cases in Michigan includes all reports during the ongoing investigation and may be updated. Federal surveillance data generally encompass laboratory-confirmed cases and may differ from state figures that also account for probable illnesses. In addition, federal authorities are scrutinizing a nine-state Cyclospora outbreak associated with iceberg lettuce from Taylor Farms de Mexico. By July 24, nine states had reported 1,947 infected individuals, many of whom also reported exposure to Taco Bell. At least 98 patients required hospitalization according to federal data. The illnesses started between June 22 and July 20. The CDC later confirmed Michigan’s two deaths, which were not included in the detailed totals published on July 24. Recall targets iceberg lettuce sourced from central Mexico Taylor Farms de Mexico has withdrawn all iceberg lettuce imported from central Mexico from the U.S. market. The recall involved multiple food-service products and Marketside iceberg salad and shredded lettuce available at selected Walmart stores.
